To view only work items assigned to a specific resource:

Open the Resources panel
-
Highlight the resource's name

Select the Filter button
When you filter by resource:
-
Work items assigned to that resource will be visible in the WBS and Gantt chart
-
Work items above those in the hierarchy will be visible
-
All other work items will be hidden
Milestones and groups are not assigned to resources in Gantt, so these items may be hidden even if they are "assigned" to the specified resource in Structure.
Filter by Multiple Resources
To filter by more than one resource, select the small squares to the left of each resource, and then click the Filter button.
