Default expand level setting in Structure

Problem

I want to set a specific expand on level setting in my structure. When the structure is opened, I want its hierarchy to always appear expanded in a certain way.

Solution

It is not possible to define a default expansion level. The expanded state of this structure is stored locally in your browser. It will be preserved between sessions, so you'll always see your last setting until you change it, or the browser cache is cleared.

Alternatively, you can create a perspective link: https://help.tempo.io/structure-dc/latest/sharing-a-perspective and use it for accessing the structure every time you need it. A perspective link ensures you see the exact same view in a structure that was active when the link was generated.
